ABOUT ...

New Music Studios is a music education company in the Atlanta area. We pride ourselves on giving quality, personalized musical instruction, both through private lessons and music programs around Atlanta.

New Music Studios was founded by Lee Adkins when he moved to Atlanta in 1996 to join the rock band Soup. Lee honed his bass playing skills traveling the eastern part of the country for the better of 6 years. Lee has a degree in psychology from Texas Tech University and has been playing music since age 4 and playing professionally since the age of 14.

In 2001, Lee left part-time employment as music director of an area private school to pursue New Music Studios, full-time. The first location of NMS was opened in the Marietta/Sprayberry area.

After 3 years at this location and constant improvement of the business and modernizing teaching methods, it was decided that mobile music lessons and programs were both more cost effective and more appealing to today's private lesson students.

After a chance meeting with a private preschool owner in 2002, New Music Studios starting offering classes and lessons in preschool centers. General music classes are provided by the center to all students and private lessons are offered for students aged 3 and older.

NMS has provided music classes and curriculum for:
